Jury finds doctor committed fraud
A Muscogee County jury has found a Columbus Regional Healthcare System doctor committed fraud when he altered a medical record to conceal malpractice surrounding the death of a 14-month-old child from Eufaula, Ala.
Medical malpractice bill hits a wall
The co-sponsor of a proposal that would raise the caps on medical malpractice lawsuits said Wednesday he would ask the House Judiciary Committee to delay a vote on the bill to work out some issues that doctors raised about the legislation.
