Lawmakers reach deal on medical malpractice costs
After two years of stalemate, state lawmakers said Wednesday they have reached an agreement to lower doctors' medical malpractice costs that could move quickly through the Legislature this week.
An osteopathic surgeon who faces more than 100 medical malpractice lawsuits in Putnam County doesn’t want to return to the county for a court date Friday.
House passes bills detailing new medical malpractice laws
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The House passed bills Friday to clarify changes to the state constitution that say doctors should lose their license after making three medical mistakes and hospitals must release records about mistakes.
