Barnett outlines health care proposal
Saying his goal is to ensure Kansans have access to affordable health insurance and medical care by 2010, Republican gubernatorial candidate Jim Barnett outlined a plan that includes creating a one-stop shopping center for insurance coverage and reducing medical malpractice lawsuits.
Supporters of Medical Malpractice Initiatives Vow to Fight On
Washington voters faced several high-profile measures this year. In the highest-spending initiative campaign in state history, voters rejected two ballot measures dealing with medical malpractice.
Jeffrey C. Hart has joined the law firm of Foley, Baron & Metzger PLLC as an associate principal. In his new position at the Ann Arbor office, Hart will be responsible for health care litigation, including medical malpractice defense, as well as complex commercial and products liability cases.
