Study: Few malpractice claims frivolous
Harvard University researchers have found that relatively few medical malpractice suits involve frivolous claims, even though nearly half of the cases studied resulted in no payment.
Senate approves bill to re-establish malpractice caps
MADISON, Wis. - The state Senate voted Tuesday to set limits on the amount juries can award to victims of medical malpractice for their pain and suffering: $450,000 to adults and $550,000 to minors.
