Attorney Accused Of Stealing Client's Settlement
SWEETWATER, Fla. -- An attorney is under arrest and facing disbarment after he is accused of stealing a client's malpractice settlement. According to investigators, attorney Stephen Nelson was handling the settlement for a man who had also been represented by attorney Nicole Friedlander. More...A growing number of New Jersey medical professionals are being hit hard by the rising costs of medical malpractice insurance, and many say those costs are affecting access to care, particularly in medically underserved communities.
The City watchdog has won a key case in its crusade to stamp out market malpractice after an independent tribunal backed its belief that market abuse does not have to involve deliberate intent.
