New report gives Alabama's emergency care system a D+
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Alabama's lack of emergency room physicians and caps on damages for pain and suffering in medical malpractice suits has earned the state a D+, a score in the bottom tier of states, in a new health care study released Tuesday. It gave the nation an overall grade of C-.
