Medical malpractice battle resurrected in Nevada
Nevada doctors and trial lawyers are again battling over medical malpractice issues, this time in the state Supreme Court. Doctors say malpractice reforms adopted in a special legislative session in 2002 could be jeopardized by hostile court rulings.
Assembly passes new malpractice damage cap
MADISON, Wis. - Medical malpractice victims in Wisconsin would be limited to $750,000 in damages for pain and suffering under legislation the Assembly passed Thursday after the governor vetoed an earlier proposal that would have set the cap much lower.
