Ark. court dismisses widow's malpractice case
LITTLE ROCK - The Arkansas Supreme Court on Thursday overturned a state appeals court decision and said a malpractice claim filed by the widow of a man who died in 1995 after being diagnosed with myelogenous leukemia should be dismissed.
Doctors still paying heavy price
Since 2003, payouts in medical malpractice cases have dropped dramatically. But the insurance premiums doctors pay have not.
