Tort reform group takes Madison County off ‘judicial hellhole’ list
EDWARDSVILLE — Ann Callis knows Madison County’s court system has taken mighty public knocks, from President Bush branding it an example of medical malpractice litigation run amok to a special-interest group calling the venue a “judicial hellhole.”

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - A columnist accused of misleading sources and using their quotes out of context in an inflammatory column about racial profiling of Arabs has been fired from the student newspaper at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a newspaper editor said Thursday.
