'Dr Death' slipped through checks
MEDICAL authorities across Australia have demanded an overhaul of the system that accredits overseas-trained doctors after a Queensland malpractice scandal involving a man dubbed 'Dr Death'.
Jury awards $38.5 million in Stamford malpractice lawsuit
A Superior Court jury in Stamford has ordered a city obstetrician to pay $38.5 million to the family of a boy born with cerebral palsy in 2003.
