Justice says medical malpractice reforms fueling absurd cases
Lawmakers have created absurd courtroom situations by passing medical malpractice lawsuit reform, state Supreme Court Justice Larry Starcher said.

A compromise on medical malpractice regulations cleared its final hurdle Tuesday, when the House agreed to it on an 82-15 vote. It now goes to Gov. Chris Gregoire, who will sign the bill she personally helped negotiate.
