Malpractice bill one step away
The state House approved the recent compromise on medical malpractice legislation Tuesday, sending the agreement to Gov. Chris Gregoire for signing.
Surgeon to file appeal against medical malpractice verdict
Dr. Eric Leefmans is going to appeal a medical malpractice verdict issued by a New Hampshire Court last week. A 42-year-old Randolph Hinz accused Leefmans and his team of blindness as a result of doctor error during the operation at a Concord hospital in 2003 following a car accident.
D.C. Council gets third plan for malpractice reform
Add a third plan for reforming medical malpractice insurance in the District to the D.C. Council's legislative to-do list this fall.
