Judge: Illinois caps on some malpractice awards unconstitutional
CHICAGO (AP) - A Chicago judge says an Illinois law placing caps on some medical malpractice awards is unconstitutional. The assertion comes in a written ruling on a lawsuit that alleged a botched delivery left an infant brain damaged.
