Legislature lets doctors apologize after unwanted outcomes
BOISE, Idaho The Legislature passed a bill today that would let doctors apologize and explain after unwanted outcomes. The bill that bars doctor's apologies from being used against them in medical malpractice lawsuits passed the Idaho Senate unanimously.
Critics say panels not working
CHEYENNE - Critics of panels that review medical malpractice cases in Wyoming say the oversight has not lowered the cost of medical malpractice insurance. Voters in 2004 amended the state constitution to allow the Legislature to resurrect the panels
