Calls for more doctor oversight
Key Maryland lawmakers are calling for tighter oversight of the state's doctors, including greater disclosure of malpractice claims histories and other information by the Board of Physicians.
Mistrial declared in surgery case; doctor dismissed
A mistrial was declared Wednesday in an emotion-packed medical malpractice case that was halted last week when one of the doctors became ill and later died.
