Doctors not obliged to call embryos 'unique living beings': US court
A US state supreme court ruled Wednesday against a woman who had brought a malpractice suit against her doctor for not telling her she was carrying "a complete, unique, irreplaceable human being" before performing an abortion.
SCPIE to Delay Filing Annual Report
SCPIE Holdings Inc., a provider of medical malpractice insurance to health care companies and networks, on Friday said it would delay filing its fiscal 2005 annual report pending an investigation of its chief financial officer's retirement benefits.
