Widow Awarded $8.5 Million in Modesto Malpractice Case
A jury has awarded $8.5 million to the widow of a man who died on the day a surgeon was going to discharge him from the hospital.

A jury has awarded a Lee County woman $8.25 million after she lost both her breasts in an alleged botched plastic surgery, her attorney said. Christy Allis was awarded the money this week as part of a medical malpractice lawsuit, according to her attorney Jeff Garvin.
