Malpractice trial begins for Springfield pathologist
The infection in Carl Robinson’s back that a Springfield pathologist misdiagnosed as cancer in 1998 caused preventable spine damage that required several surgeries and left him unable to work, Robinson’s lawyer told a Sangamon County Circuit Court jury Tuesday.
