$1 Million Malpractice Award Against Gunster Yoakley Upheld
A unanimous Florida appeals court panel on Wednesday upheld a $1 million legal malpractice judgment against Gunster Yoakley & Stewart awarded to the heirs of the Gannett newspaper fortune. The case arose from a dispute over the estate of Charles V. McAdam Jr., who was married to the daughter of the newspaper chain's founder. McAdam's two sons sued Gunster, shareholder Daniel A.
