Board wants malpractice info on website
The North Carolina Medical Board will hold a public hearing next month on a proposal to post doctors' malpractice information on its Web site.
Flesh-eating disease result of error, not negligence
It is well-settled law that accidents happen, and adverse medical outcomes occur even when there is no negligence. A good case in point is a recent Alberta malpractice lawsuit where a hysterectomy went awry and the patient came down with flesh-eating disease.
