Malpractice insurance plan extension delayed
TRENTON — Lawmakers Thursday delayed acting on a proposal to extend for another three years an experimental plan where doctors and lawyers pay $75 a year into a pool to help some physicians pay for malpractice insurance.
CCS calls for folic acid in bread
Disability support provider CCS says it would be public health malpractice if folic acid is not made a compulsory ingredient in bread. Food Standards Australia and New Zealand is putting the proposal out for public submissions this week.
No verdict reached in malpractice case
The jury went home Thursday night without reaching a verdict in a malpractice case where a baby sustained nerve damage that could have been prevented.
