Jury continues deliberation of Olesky malpractice suit
A Collier County jury will continue deliberations Monday morning in a medical negligence and wrongful death lawsuit against two physicians and a physician’s assistant filed by the family of Ann Olesky, an admired civic leader in Immokalee before her death in 2004 following heart surgery.
Govt may strip Tokyo hospital of top status
A Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry council decided Monday to revoke the designation of Tokyo Medical University Hospital as capable of administering advanced medical treatment due to malpractice by a cardiac surgeon at the hospital that caused the deaths of four patients.
