A growing number of New Jersey medical professionals are being hit hard by the rising costs of medical malpractice insurance, and many say those costs are affecting access to care, particularly in medically underserved communities.
Officials: Rule Changes Reduce Malpractice Suits
Two legal rule changes have reduced the number of malpractice cases filed in Pennsylvania, according to state judicial officials. The state Supreme Court initiated a certificate of merit and a new venue rule in 2003.
