Nigeria: Elechi Reads Riot Act to Accountants
Disturbed by the flagrant disregard of laid-down procedures of basis accounting ethics, resulting in massive looting of public funds by those who are placed in positions of public trust, Governor Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State has warned that any accountant, who failed to apply due process would be held responsible for any form of financial malpractice discovered in his area of operations.
