Man Schwartz wanted dead may testify at his trial
One week after being sentenced to life in prison and having his medical license yanked, Bradley Alan Schwartz was expected in court today for the start of a malpractice trial.
Healey, candidate for governor, proposes malpractice overhaul
(Boston - AP) - Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey is proposing an overhaul of the state's medical malpractice laws. Healey says malpractice insurance rates are driving doctors out of business or prompting them to practice what she calls defensive medicine.
