The wife of former Dallas Cowboys running back Ron Springs plans to file a lawsuit in state court Tuesday charging medical malpractice.

State medical regulators have voted to cut back on the amount of information they post on a Web site about malpractice settlements of North Carolina doctors.
More medical malpractice data would go public under new bill
A freshman legislator wants to change the way doctors are policed in North Carolina. Rep. Bill Faison, a Democrat who represents Orange and Caswell counties, introduced a bill Thursday that would, among other things, make public more information about malpractice cases.
