Molloy awards Navy vet $622,739
A Missoula Navy veteran was awarded $622,739 this week after winning a medical malpractice lawsuit against a Veterans Affairs hospital in Salt Lake City, where a series of failed operations left him permanently disabled.
Study: Few malpractice claims frivolous
Harvard University researchers have found that relatively few medical malpractice suits involve frivolous claims, even though nearly half of the cases studied resulted in no payment.
