Appeals court upholds malpractice ruling
The Michigan Court of Appeals backed a trial court’s decision that there was no cause for action in a Wexford County medical malpractice case. The three-member panel issued the ruling following the case, which took place in 28th Circuit Court in Cadillac.
Court permits contingency fee waiver
A Florida Supreme Court ruling will allow plaintiffs in medical malpractice cases to waive their constitutional right to a cap on their attorneys' contingency fee.
