$6 million awarded in malpractice case
A Town of Boston woman Friday was awarded $6 million in a medical malpractice case for digestive system problems linked to the failure of a surgeon to notice her strangulated small intestine after surgery eight years ago.

A Charleston woman has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Dunbar, its parent company and former administrator, claiming their negligence and medical malpractice was the reason her father died.
