Insurance co. to anchor Meridian building
A company that sells medical malpractice insurance to foot doctors has agreed to anchor one of the building’s the Meridian mixed-use development now under construction in Cool Springs.
The Illinois AFL-CIO weighed in Tuesday on the challenge to the caps placed on medical malpractice awards for non-economic damages. A lawsuit filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court charges that the law is unconstitutional and should be overturned.
