Harper Creek wins $387K settlement from firm
The Harper Creek Community Schools Board of Education voted unanimously Monday to authorize a $387,500 settlement from Wakely Associates in a construction malpractice suit, bringing to a close a three-year dispute with the architecture firm.
Patel's return to Qld still doubtful
There are fresh doubts about Dr Jayant Patel voluntarily returning to Queensland. Dr Patel has been urged to come back to Queensland to testify at the Bundaberg hospital inquiry into his alleged malpractice.
