EDITORIAL Doctor-patient relations tested
The Medical Council, the governing body for physicians, has issued an announcement on "Medical Facts" to inform the public about problems and limitations faced by doctors. This is part of a campaign to seek protection for Medical Council members from "unfair" malpractice lawsuits.
Mississippi Supreme Court To Consider Clarifying Medical Malpractice Limits
The Mississippi Supreme Court will consider a federal appeals panel's request to clarify when the clock starts ticking on the filing of certain medical malpractice claims. The case is among dozens the Supreme Court will consider during the March-April term.
