Windsor boy, injured at birth, wins millions
A Hartford Superior Court jury this week awarded a medical malpractice verdict of almost $2.6 million to a 4-year-old Windsor boy who has permanent limitations on the use of his right arm due to injuries he suffered as he was born, according to the boy's lawyer.
Douglas County error puts it on defense in malpractice case
OMAHA — Douglas County might have to pay a hefty price for an employee’s failure to deliver. The county finds itself as the defendant in a medical malpractice lawsuit because, contrary to a civil process server’s contention, the original defendant was never served papers.
