Jury awards family of brain-damaged girl $17.8 million
The family of a 5-year-old girl whose brain was damaged as doctors prepared her for surgery was awarded more than $17.8 million in one of Ohio's largest medical-malpractice awards.
House subcommittee approves bill limiting medical malpractice lawsuits
