Insurer, Md. Agree on Malpractice Case
Maryland's largest medical malpractice insurer will return $84 million to the state and give nearly $14 million in premium credits to the doctors it insures under an agreement announced Thursday by state regulators and company officials.
The July 25 letter by Dr. Philip G. Lambruschi clearly demonstrates the inaccurate and misleading hype being espoused about malpractice caps.
