Parents Of Indiana Boy Who Died Settle Malpractice Suit
(Tell City, IN, AP) The parents of a six-year-old southern Indiana boy who died after his infection was incorrectly diagnosed have settled a malpractice case for $900,000. Johnathon Elder died of a bacterial infection at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City in 1999. Attorneys for the family say the settlement was reached with a Nebraska insurance company that held the malpractice insurance
