Cropp introduces medical malpractice reform bill
Let the battle begin. D.C. Council Chairman Linda Cropp has introduced medical malpractice reform legislation in an effort to keep doctors’ insurance premiums in check. Her bill, co-sponsored by 10 council members, was introduced Wednesday and sets up a fight with Mayor Tony Williams, who recently introduced his own malpractice reform bill to the council.
