Man, 27, wins $10m after suing hospital
A 27-year-old Barrie man, paralyzed since a 2002 beating, has won a $10 million settlement in a malpractice claim against Royal Victoria Hospital.But it’s “not enough” to compensate Lee Turton, who can’t talk or move his body, but communicated his feelings via computer voice synthesizer after hearing the news Tuesday night, his father Ken said Wednesday night.
