Legislature has a full plate; fate of many bills up in air
HARRISBURG — It’s crunch time at the state Capitol for thousands of bills introduced during the past two years. The fate of major legislation to expand health care coverage, subsidize doctors’ malpractice insurance costs, help consumers save on electric bills and improve conditions in Pennsylvania’s puppy mills will be decided during three days of joint House-Senate sessions next week.
