U. of I. to pay $13 mil. in malpractice lawsuits
The University of Illinois Board of Trustees will be asked today to sign off on nearly $14 million in settlements in medical-malpractice cases. The settlements involve two separate cases filed against the university in Cook County Circuit Court in 2004 and 2005.
