Killer sues sheriff’s office, prosecutor
A man convicted of one of Monroeville’s most notorious crimes is headed back to court. This time he’s not fighting for his freedom — he’s fighting for money. Convicted killer James Young Jr. has recently filed two civil lawsuits: a tort lawsuit against the Huron County Sheriff’s office and a malpractice suit against Huron County Prosecutor Russ Leffler.
