County Court requests new judge in Powell case
Luzerne County Court Administrator William T. Sharkey has asked the State Supreme Court to assign a judge from outside the county to hear post-trial arguments in a $3.4 million legal malpractice case involving prominent local attorney Robert J. Powell and Hazleton law firm Laputka, Bayless, Ecker & Cohn.
