JUA proposes cutting malpractice insurance premiums by 4.4%
The Pennsylvania Professional Liability Joint Underwriting Association, the state’s insurer of last resort for malpractice coverage, filed plans with the state Department of Insurance to decrease rates next year for health-care providers by an overall average of 4.4 percent.
