American International Group, Inc., (AIG) withdrew a proposed 39.9 percent rate hike by its National Union subsidiary, after the non-profit Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights (FTCR) filed a challenge requesting a public hearing to determine whether the increase was warranted.
