Pa. Court Applies Strict Time Bar in Legal Malpractice Case

The lack of realized damages does not toll the statute of limitations in a legal malpractice claim, a Pennsylvania Superior Court panel ruled. The panel rejected Wachovia’s argument that it couldn’t have brought a negligence claim against its attorney for an act that didn’t result in damages until years later, instead ruling that the statute of limitations for a breach of contract claim starts
