A Sedgwick County judge this afternoon refused a request by beleaguered Haysville doctor Stephen Schneider to postpone 10 malpractice suits against him because of a continuing federal criminal investigation. Judge Mark Vining said he will allow the lawsuits to continue, even as a federal prosecutor said that a two-year-old criminal investigation against the doctor and his clinic is still open.
