Medical board censures doctor
The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts has issued a public censure against former board president Howard Ellis, accused of malpractice and using falsified records. The Lenexa obstetrician-gynecologist was at the center of a controversy in July 2005 when Gov. Kathleen Sebelius appointed him to a four-year term on the regulatory body.
