Patient sues Barker for $600,000
First witnesses are expected to be called today in a malpractice suit against Pratt surgeon Dr. Pat Barker. Mary Ann Rojas of Pratt is seeking $600,000 for medical expenses plus pain and suffering. Rojas claims Barker did not act skillfully as a surgeon during a hernia operation in 2003.
