AFL-CIO weighs in on cap law
The Illinois AFL-CIO weighed in Tuesday on the challenge to the caps placed on medical malpractice awards for non-economic damages. A lawsuit filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court charges that the law is unconstitutional and should be overturned.
