$1 million Riverside verdict upheld
The Virginia Supreme Court rules in favor of a malpractice suit. The Virginia Supreme Court ruled Friday that Riverside Regional Medical Center must pay a $1 million medical malpractice judgment to the family of a woman who broke her hip when she fell while walking in the hall outside of her hospital room.
